Day 23, Paper tube birds

These little beauties were our project of the day today.  Whew and what a project it was.  Painting toilet paper rolls with REAL paint is a lot more stressful for mom and less fun for kids than one would think.  These two didn't like getting the paint on their hands or their paint shirts.  Mom was messiest of them all and realistically did most of the project while little voices dictated how they wanted their birds to look.  But they were happy with the birds when they were dried and all their pieces were glued on.
